Jen’s 4th World Title for WakeSkate

Indianapolis, Ind. – Fans lined the shores of The Precedent in northern Indianapolis to catch the final rounds of action at the 2011 Rockstar Energy Drink WWA Wakeboard World Championships, presented by Supra. The sport’s top pros laid it all on the line in an exciting showdown to see who will be the 2011 World Champion. O’Neill Team Rider Jen GilanFarr took her 4th World title in the Pro Women Wakeskate Division! Jen stuck a nice clean back big in finals, sealing in the win. She has swept the podium all year, watch out boys.

“Indy was a great venue for Worlds, glassy water all day. I miss the Reno stop because it was close to home, but I’m happy as long as we get good conditions! I was stoked for some international competition, it’s good to know there are girls pushing wakeskating all around the world. I’m hoping to rally some more girls to ride the tour next year.” -Jen

About Jen: Jen GilanFarr’s ascent to the top of women’s professional wakeskating was fast, if not especially furious. The 24-year-old Lake Tahoe native quietly swept the WWA National AND World Championships, and was unanimously named Alliance Wakeskate’s Female Rider of the Year. She is the first and only woman to ever land a wake-to-wake shuv it (several, in fact), and one of the few with all-around skills behind the boat, on rails, at the cable or exploring terrain with a winch. There are few who love water time any more then Jen, and it’s obvious. Off the water she is an accomplished graphic artist.
