Love it or Hate it? Today’s Manicure Monday features a unique and fuzzy manicure, Crushed Velvet Flocked nails. We happened to stumble upon this manicure and liked it because it reminded us of cotton candy at the Summer fair. Check out more photos of the supplies and steps on The Black Pearl Blog.
What You’ll Need:
-Orly Bonder basecoat (optional)
-Pink nail polish
-Pink crushed velvet flock
How To Do It Yourself:
Step 1: Start off by applying the Orly Bonder as your basecoat to all your nails (this will prevent nail color from chipping or wearing off). Working on one hand at a time apply your pink nail polish basecoat to all fingers (which should match the color of your velvet flock).
Step 2: Dip each finger into your flocking powder and using your other hand softly press down to make sure the velvet sticks to the nail polish. Feel free to blow off excess and repeat on all fingers.
Step 3: Repeat steps 1 and 2 on your other hand and you’re all done!
