The ultimate summer vacation; road trip with your bestie! Our summer interns, Megan and Sara, did just that to get out to our O’Neill headquarters in Southern California to start interning for our marketing department. Their travels started 1,500 miles away from the golden state in Arkansas, allowing them to stop at some of our bucket list destinations for a trip across the United States. Follow along as their travel diaries unfold on the blog.
Cadillac Ranch lies off Interstate 40 in Amarillo, Texas. Since it’s initial installation in the 70s, there’s been plenty of paint smeared across these originally pink (we think) cars. These Cadillacs are canvases for amateurs, professionals, and dreamers, desperately waiting a new story to unfold on their rusting frames. You walk through a crop filled field and there they are– just stuck in the mud with spray cans laying around for you to go wild.
Our road trip style encompassed comfy, casual O’Neill Summer styles that inspired adventure. The Sybil Tee is a cozy piece designed to be your grab and go top. The color suits everyone and is easily paired with our white Phoebe Shorts or dressed up in our Rana Pant.
The Carolina Overall will be your best friend due to its incredible comfort and seasonable style. The lightweight fabric won’t weigh you down as you wander through the hot summer months and with its western vibe and bandana inspired print you’re festival ready in this wear-everywhere one piece!
Stay tuned for the next stop! Follow the girls on Instagram to see BTS shots from the journey.
