San Francisco greeted me with blue skies and busy sidewalks. A haven for artists and city dwellers residing in the pastel colored buildings lining inclined streets. I hadn’t visited the city since I was really young, so for my short stay I explored as much as I could, soaking in the sights and experiences the colorful city had to offer.
Sunday morning started with a walk through the quaint neighborhood of Nobb Hill to grab breakfast and take in the view from the top of the streets we had climbed. Then it was off to Haight-Ashbury for a stroll along the iconic street, stopping along the way for a dose of vintage shopping and fresh pressed juice. The road led us into Golden Gate park, which is where we spent the rest of the afternoon wandering and gazing in complete awe at the view from the top of the de Young Museum.
While I normally sport O’Neill’s Sun Dip coverup over a bikini to head to the beach, a trip to San Francisco was the perfect excuse to switch these up with a wide brimmed hat, ripped jeans and boots for the urban environment.
