    Great hood!

    I surf in New England through the winter (with water temps just above freezing), and this hood is keeping me warm. I went with a cheap one before I spent the money on this, and it was totally wort it. I do wish this hood was a little bit longer in the neck. It sometimes sneaks up the back and I can get a fresh blast of icy water in my suit. But overall it's terrific.

    Nice and warm, can use with different suits

    Title says it all, I do a lot of swimming, sometimes in cold water where i still prefer a 3/2 but need something to keep my head warm. Then i have a hoodless 4/3 for surfing, where my heads obviously out of the water most the time, but if it gets cold enough i throw this on.

    Get the MUTANT 2MM HOOD When It's Available

    I haven't tried the Mutant yet but I understand the importance of having the extra coverage on the soldiers now. The psycho coldwater won't stay tucked into the suit. What results is 2 or 3 inches of the back of the neck folding up inside out. I only got it because the Mutant wasn't available. It does keep my hair out of my face though so I'll give it that.
