Spending countless hours on the water has been a major part of Mary’s family life for as far back as she can remember. Her dad strapped her to a wakeboard when she was six years old and she started competing soon after at the age of eight. Growing up in Alabama, the winters were chilly, so after a year or two of failed attempts trying to ride through the winter, Mary finally got her first O’Neill wetsuit. This was a pivotal moment in her career as she learned at an early age that training through the winter was key to her continual improvement and success. Fast forward to the present day, with two world wakeboard championships under her belt along with many wins along the way, Mary has proven herself to be one of the most fearless and talented wakeboarders in the world and an integral part of the O’Neill wake team.
