What are the perks of being a member?

There are plenty of perks you get to take advantage of for being an O’Neill Rewards member. All members will gain access to:

How do I earn points?

For starters - each member gets a reward just for joining our rewards program. Additionally, you will earn 1 point for every $1 spent on items. Finally, you can earn points by completing different actions and events like following us on Instagram, leaving a review on a verified purchase, or get a birthday and account anniversary bonus!

How do I redeem points for a discount?

Once you earn 100 points, you'll be able to start redeeming the points at checkout for a discount. 100 points will unlock a $10 coupon, 200 points a $20 coupon, 300 points a $30 coupon, 400 points a $40 coupon, and 500 points a $50 coupon.

To redeem points, make sure you're logged in to your account and at checkout (not the cart) you'll be able to apply the rewards discount from a dropdown selection (next to the coupon code discount box). Please note, if you'll only be able to redeem them by using the regular site checkout or Shop Pay. Other accelerated checkouts (like Apple Pay, Paypal, Google Pay, etc) will not let you redeem the points.

How do I join and get started?

Easy! Simply create an account and you'll being earning points and moving up the VIP Tiers. If you already have an account, you're all set. You can view your points balance on your account page and begin redeeming at any time.

Log in to your account (or create an account with the email used on the order) to view your order status page. You can also access the order status page from your order confirmation email.

Once orders are placed, we are unable to make most changes to orders – including address updates, promo code adjustments, item modifications, etc. If there is a mistake on your order, please contact support as soon as possible so we can attempt to catch the order prior to it processing
too far along.


If you have a promotional code, please make sure to add it to your order during the checkout.  We are unable to retroactively adjust orders if it was left off – we will need to cancel the order and you will have to replace it.

Promotion codes and reward point redemptions cannot be applied to the same order.

Start your return or exchange at Our returns center will guide you through the returns process and provide you with a return label*.

  • Returns must be started within 30 days from the date of purchase.
  • Items must be purchased directly from and be in brand new condition with the tags still attached.
  • Items marked as 'FINAL SALE' are ineligible for returns & exchanges.
  • A return handling fee of $6.99 will be deducted from your refund total.

Once a return is started, the return label is active for 28 days before expiring (initial scan needs to occur in the 28 day window).

Please allow a full 2 weeks for our warehouse to process the return/refund once it's delivered.

*At this time Puerto Rico & APO/FPO orders are not provided with a return label and are required to send it back on your own.

Q. What does the thickness mean in a wetsuit? 
A. The wetsuit thickness measurements is in millimeters and run from the center of the suit,(your core or abdomen) to you extremities (arms and legs). So, for example, a 3/2MM wetsuit, the core of the wetsuit is 3 Millimeters thick and the legs and arms are 2 Millimeters thick.

Q. How should I pick the thickness of my wetsuit?
Preferred wetsuit thickness may vary by 5 to 10 degrees based on one's weight, level of activity, wind chill, outside temperature, and personal preference. However, as a general rule, 2mm wetsuits are well-suited for water temperatures above 65 degrees and 3/2mm wetsuits are normally used in water temperatures ranging from 60 degrees to 70 degrees. 4/3mm wetsuits work well from 50 degrees to 65 degrees. For water temperatures under 55 degrees, we recommend a 5/4mm wetsuit.

Q. What if I'm between sizes? How should I pick?

A. If between sizes, size up (but remember wetsuits are designed to fit snug).

Q. What is Z.E.N Zip & F.U.Z.E Zip? 
A. Z.E.N Zip is the back zip entry to the wetsuit. O'Neill's original patented Z.E.N closure allows for zipper less free floating feel, short zip, and barrier-2 mixed with zen collar to keep out the water. It allows less paddle flexibility.

F.U.Z.E Zip (Front Upper Zipper Entry) is the chest zip entry to the wetsuit. Based off O'Neill's patented Z.E.N Zip system, this allows for zipper less free floating feel and more paddle flexibility.

Q. What is the best method to care for my Wetsuit? 
A. Care varies by personal preference and different recommendations but the basics are: Rinse with fresh water after every use. Clean with wetsuit shampoo every 3-5 uses for maximum life time. Oil buttons and zippers every few months.

Q. What is the Warranty Information on Wetsuits? 
A. 1-Year warranty, if the product is found to be defective under normal use and proper care, O’Neill will repair or replace the product at our sole discretion. The decision to replace or repair a product is made by the O’Neill Warranty Department after receipt of the defective product. At no time does O’Neill offer refunds. Defective product should be returned clean and dry, postage prepaid. Please include product description, product defects, requested action, return address (be sure to include postal code, especially for Canadian addresses), daytime phone number with area code, customer’s name and a copy of the purchase receipt sent to the address below.
