Hawaiian native, Sophia Culhane, started surfing at the age of four in Waikiki. You can find her on the beach under the banyan tree with her local Waikiki girl gang and longboard quiver that always sports a distinct rainbow down the center, in honor of her late father who has always inspired her to follow her dreams. At just 16, she took first place in the Surfing For Hope Longboard Classic. Just a few weeks later she received 2nd place in the Malibu Longboard Championships rounding out the ’22 season 3rd in the world. Sophia is a fearless competitor with big goals who moves with strength and grace in the water. She is quickly making her name known on tour and brings her aloha spirit into everything she does.
