    Worth the Upgrade

This was my first time purchasing a 4/3 wetsuit. It's quickly become my go-to suit even on days where a 4/3 would seem too warm (I do tend to run cold in general though). I surf in San Diego and this is the coziest I've ever felt in the water. The feeling of the fabric is much nicer than either of the 2 wetsuits I've had before (neither were from O'Neill). Fits perfectly as they say in the measurements and lets almost no water in.

One slight downside is that it's a bit difficult to get in and out of. I opted for the chest zip thinking that it would help keep me warmer, which I believe it is doing compared to a back-zip. But I am definitely spending a few extra minutes taking it off after a session. Not that big of a deal though since the amount of time I can now stay in the water without getting cold far outweighs it. After a few months of wearing it I've gotten pretty used to taking it off, but it's definitely still a bit of a struggle.

I think this product was well worth the price. I wanted to get something that I knew would last but I didn't want to break the bank on the hyperfreak or psycho or anything like that. This is more than satisfactory. Whenever this one wears out, I'll definitely be buying another O'Neill though. The comfort and build quality of this suit is leaps and bounds above anything I've ever worn before.
