"This item fits right. I had previously ordered a size L, which is the size I always were in O’Neill products, with the size large I could not even get the vest closed enough to zip the zipper closed!! Most other similar products I wear a size medium."

Freedom and flotation!
"The vest worked for me and my two sons in law who are bigger than me. The freedom of movement with strong flotation is a victorious fusion of technology and comfort."
"The vest is badass!"
Vest works well for 80-year old surfer
"I have been surfing since 1959. I recently had health issues that required the installation of the defibrillator. I bought the vest to serve as protection for the implanted device as I paddle . I am 110 pounds and the vest covers the device protrusion from my pectoral area. It keeps me warm and feels secure."

Q&A
- How buoyant is the slasher competition vest? Will it keep a skier afloat if injured?
- Hi Phil! Great question. The Slasher Comp vest is not a USCG approved life vest. A main factor in a USCG approved rating is that if a skier is hurt, that the vest will help keep you/your body in a proper position to keep breathing (ie - if unconscious it'll keep your head out of the water). This vest doesn't meet that standard, but still does provide plenty of buoyancy for recreational use.
