Spending time on the North Shore gives surfer's an opportunity to test out their boards for the coming year on tour. For #TeamONeill athlete Soli Bailey, his few weeks allow him to dial his go-to Channel Islands short boards in all types of waves and conditions. But it's not all R&D for the World Tour, some boards are tailor-made just to conquer spots like Pipe and some are magic blades like the 6'9" that helped earn Bailey his qualification on tour last year.
