Russ Bierke is a surfer's surfer. Quietly spoken, but someone who let's his actions do the talking. He's also someone that now finds himself as the youngest competitor on the WSL Big Wave World Tour. With an ability to remain calm in serious situations and a surfing maturity that belies his years, Russ is a darkhorse. A strong bond with his surfer/shaper father Kirk, and years raised on reefs of consequence, it is no surprise to those close that Russ has stepped into the world's big wave riding elite.
