The Wave of the Winter is more than a contest. It’s a nod of respect, one of the ultimate honors in the surfing world. To join the list of legends that have graced it’s winning lineage is a true privilege, and not earned without total commitment to the sport. Some of the craziest, most intense rides of the year go down on the North Shore of Oahu. Surfers from across the world push themselves to the limit in an attempt to ride the craziest wave of the season. Only one will succeed and be awarded the Wave of the Winter.
