Autumn Hays

Autumn Hays Santa Cruz has been a dominant force in local surfing for years. In November 2023, she clinched her first QS victory on home soil at the O'Neill Cold Water Classic held at Steamer Lane in Santa Cruz. In the final, Hays showcased her skill by securing scores of 5.37 and 5.33, surpassing San Clemente's Kirra Pinkerton, who had earlier led with scores of 5.50 and 4.00.  

Beyond competitions, Autumn is deeply connected to Santa Cruz's surfing community. She frequently shares her experiences and local surf spots on her Instagram account, offering followers a glimpse into her life both in and out of the water. 

Looking ahead, Autumn's recent performances position her as a strong contender on the QS leaderboard in 2024. At 24 years old, her blend of talent, local insight, and dedication suggests a promising future in competitive surfing.
