Growing up at his family’s home on Lake Williamstown in Georgia, Guenther Oka was already being taught techniques behind the boat at the age of 3. Soon enough, riding waves of all types became second nature. In 2015, Guenther made the move to Orlando to test the pro wakeboard waters and he hasn’t looked back since. The rookie received Wakeboarding Magazine's hallowed Check Out Award in 2015. The next year, he won the Wake Park World Series titles and he was the top rider in the Wake Park World Series. This title trend would continue for the next four seasons, with wins at top events such as US Park Pro to the Pro Wakeboard Tour. Now, with 5x World Championships to his name along and X Games gold medalist, Guenther has become a key member of O’Neill’s product team and an inspiring mentor for every up-and-coming rider who crosses his path.
