Guenther Oka

Born on July 2, 1998, in Cincinnati, Ohio, Guenther Oka began wakeboarding at the age of three on Lake Williamstown in Kentucky, where his family spent weekends. His parents, both avid water-skiers, introduced him to the sport, and by 2015, Guenther had relocated to Orlando, Florida, to pursue professional wakeboarding full-time.

In his rookie year, Guenther advanced to several finals, secured a podium finish, and placed 12th in the Wake Park World Series Pro Features rankings. The following year, he clinched the Wake Park World Series title and continued his dominance by winning multiple events over the next four seasons, including the US Park Pro and Pro Wakeboard Tour.

Guenther's impressive accolades include six World Championships and an X Games gold medal. He is also a key member of O'Neill's product team, contributing to the development of wakeboarding gear. Beyond his competitive success, Guenther is dedicated to mentoring emerging riders, sharing his passion and expertise to inspire the next generation of wakeboarders.
