Liv Stone

Liv Stone, born in Pennsylvania, is a congenital, bilateral, above-the-elbow amputee with two fingers on each hand. She discovered surfing at Bethany Hamilton's 2017 Beautifully Flawed Retreat in Del Mar, California, and quickly embraced the sport.

In 2018, Liv joined the USA Adaptive Surf Team, contributing to a team gold medal at the Stance ISA Para Surfing World Championships. She clinched her first individual gold at the 2020 ISA World Para Surfing Championships at age 17, and successfully defended her title in 2021 and 2022, becoming a three-time world champion.

In April 2019, Liv and her family relocated to Carlsbad, California, to pursue her surfing ambitions. She won the inaugural women's adaptive heat at the World Surf League's Super Girl Pro and played a pivotal role in integrating adaptive surfers into events like the Malibu World Longboard Championships.

Beyond surfing, Liv is an environmental science student, wildlife enthusiast, and disability advocate. She continues to inspire others by challenging boundaries and embracing the journey.
