Daytona Beach legend and Team O’Neill favorite Cory Lopez has been with the brand for over twenty years. The notorious goofy footer and world class tube rider has been a key figure in the surf world since the ‘90s. Cory spent years competing, traveling and filming legendary video parts with brother Shea and friend Andy Irons. He’s been ranked #1 on the ASP World Tour with a final season best of #3 in 2001. Some major career wins include U.S. Open of Surfing Champion, Billabong Pro Tahiti Champion, Globe SI Pro Champion, three X-Games gold medals and a gold and silver medal at the ISA World Championships. He also won Surfer Magazine’s “Tube of the Year” award in 2009 for the discovery of a “mile long” left point at Skeleton Bay, Africa. Cory continues to surf, travel and be heavily involved with the brand. He lives in Indian Rocks Beach, Florida with his wife and two children.
